Digital Assets Senior Quality Engineer Innovation Labs

Overview

An Innovation Labs Digital Assets Platform Senior Engineer must be a highly motivated and proactive hands-on engineer obsessed with quality, with proven experience working with enterprise applications within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be part of the core team building the Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform (CIDAP). The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactive, highly technical, and works well as part of a distributed Citi software engineering network.

We are seeking someone who understands quality assurance of enterprise applications in a holistic way (functional, performance, reliability, resiliency, security) and who values QA across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with quality assurance of web3 applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and specific test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Conduct manual and automated testing for interfaces (UI, API, Messaging) to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, document, and track defects, communicating issues and resolutions clearly to the development team.
• Develop, maintain, and manage automated test scripts and test frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage (happy and unhappy paths).
• Develop, maintain, and manage automated synthetic transactions to validate and monitor functionality and identify issues before users are impacted.
• Use best practices and design patterns for web3 applications.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements, discuss test findings, and resolve issues.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to boost testing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor the software development lifecycle to ensure quality is maintained at every stage, from design to delivery.
• Use collaborative tools to manage and deliver work in a distributed team.
• Contribute to and maintain technical documents for code and applications built and maintained.
• Communicate effectively as part of a distributed team.

Primary Location : New York, NY, United States

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range : $142,320.00 - $213,480.00
