We are seeking a dedicated License Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for the tracking and processing of all license applications, including Board of Pharmacy, Department of Health, Business, Occupational, City, State, Bedding, DOT, FDA, etc. including changes of address and any other pertinent change of information to maintain all location licenses in good standing.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Follows up on outstanding issues consistently to ensure timely filing of licenses
Maintain copies of all licenses in provider services files
Maintains activity log.
Maintains database of licenses by facility with anticipated expiration dates
Proactively complete all licensure applications accurately and timely
Promptly inform manager of any issues or problems related to licensure status
Performs other duties as assigned

Valid drivers license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Required Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
Preferred Education and / or Experience
Two year degree from an accredited college; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in medical field and administrative record management, preferred
One year of related work experience, preferred
Medical terminology, preferred

Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
