Electrical Project Manager

Are you a seasoned leader in electrical construction looking to take ownership of high-impact projects? A well-established and rapidly growing electrical contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop high-performing project teams, ensuring quality delivery that meets client expectations, timelines, and budget targets.
  • Drive profitability across a portfolio of projects through strategic planning and execution.
  • Define and manage project goals, schedules, procurement strategies, and staffing plans.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and manage a team of direct and indirect reports, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Interpret and oversee contractual obligations and technical requirements for each project.
  • Adjust project milestones and priorities in response to evolving client needs and site conditions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors and consultants to maintain project standards.
  • Lead financial forecasting and reporting for active projects.
  • Ensure technical excellence in engineering deliverables and construction execution.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
  • Manage billing processes and negotiate change orders as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in electrical project management
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction methodologies.
  • Proven field experience working alongside construction management teams.
  • Expertise in scheduling, estimating, contract negotiation, and change order management.
  • Track record of building client relationships and contributing to business development.
  • Demonstrated success in managing profitable project portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.
