Payroll Coordinator
An aerospace company located in Fife, WA is currently hiring for a Payroll Coordinator to join the manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for the employees in Washington. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems and is confident in managing payroll functions with minimal oversight. Schedule - Standard Morning Shift Monday - Friday (40 Hours a Week)

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Process and review weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Ensure payroll accuracy by verifying hours, earnings, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
Manage payroll compliance, with a strong understanding of Washington wage and hour laws, overtime rules, and state / local tax regulations. Knowledge of California laws and regulations would be preferred, but not required, to assist with payroll processors at our other divisions.
Maintain payroll records and ensure timely updates to employee data, tax information, and direct deposits.
Collaborate with HR and Accounting to reconcile payroll data, benefit deductions, and general ledger entries.
Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
Support quarterly and year-end activities, including W-2s, tax filings, and audits.
Stay current with payroll-related laws and ADP system enhancements to ensure continued compliance and efficiency.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
3+ years of payroll processing experience in a manufacturing or similar environment required.
Strong proficiency with ADP (Workforce Now preferred) required.
Must be ITAR-compliant.
Experience in processing payroll following Washington laws and regulations.
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour compliance, and tax regulations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to confidentiality.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
Experience in processing payroll following California laws and regulations.
Experience supporting both hourly (non-exempt) and salaried (exempt) employee groups.
Familiarity with manufacturing timekeeping systems and shift differentials.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr.
