Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Northern California

Start your assignment on 08 / 04 or 08 / 18 as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Northern California. This 13-week position offers 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with on-call duties compensated at $9 per hour. Northern California is known for its diverse communities, scenic coastlines, and access to outdoor recreation, making it an ideal location for both work and leisure.

In this role, you will diagnose, treat, and care for patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma and emphysema. Your responsibilities include performing respiratory assessments, administering treatments, managing ventilators, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop care plans. A typical day involves monitoring patient progress, adjusting respiratory therapy as needed, and educating patients and families on respiratory health. You will utilize your expertise in respiratory care to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.

To qualify, you must hold a valid California Registered Respiratory Therapist license and have relevant certifications, including ARRT(CT) and BLS. Experience with Siemens Perspective 64 slice and Siemens Go-Top 128 slice equipment is required. Credentialing must be completed one week prior to the start date. The position offers a guaranteed work week (GWW) for both billing and pay, with weekly billing cycles and a 30-day notice period for cancellation. Parking and dress code details are to be determined.
