When You’ll Work
- Two 12‑hour schedule options with built‑in overtime and regular days off :
- Rotating Day / Night : Week 1 : Mon / Tues (6 AM–6 PM), Fri / Sat / Sun (6 PM–6 AM); Week 2 : Wed / Thurs (6 AM–6 PM)
- Straight Nights : 6 PM–6 AM on a 2‑2‑3 pattern

What Your Day Looks Like
Partner within a cross‑functional maintenance team to minimize downtime and boost throughput.Troubleshoot, repair, and document machine issues accurately and on time.Diagnose PLC / HMI control system software issues when possible.Perform and record preventative maintenance (PM) activities.Communicate status, issues, and downtime across shifts and to supervisors / management.Support offline machine rebuilds and prep work as needed.Work within Bausch + Lomb’s 12‑hour rotational schedule (required).Provide support for equipment build / integration and / or training with minimal travel .Support plant manufacturing equipment systems under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor .What You Bring
Education : High School diploma or equivalent required.Preferred : Technical apprenticeship or Associate’s in a related electrical or mechanical field (equivalent hands‑on experience may substitute).Specialized Knowledge
Familiarity with OSHA requirements; basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.Experience
At least 2 years in a technician role handling equipment repair and preventative maintenance.Documentation experience in a medical device or other regulated environment is a plus.Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.Preferred / Desired Skills
Understanding of cGMP; clean room experience preferred.Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical prints (required).Demonstrated problem‑solving and advanced troubleshooting skills.PLC troubleshooting capability desirable.Robotics and motion : programming / troubleshooting SCARA, FANUC, Staubli, IAI robots and servo motors desirable.Injection molding exposure (electric and hydraulic) desirable.Core Proficiencies
