A federally qualified health center in California is currently seeking a licensed Pediatrician Physician, to join one of their team in Los Angeles. About the Opportunity : Start Date : ASAP Schedule : Monday to Friday Hours : 8am to 5pm Setting : Clinic / Skilled Nursing Patient Population : Pediatrician Patient Volume : 12 to 16 per day Responsibilities : Provide specialty care services to Clinic patients, ensuring quality, timely, professional care aligned with the clinic's mission and values. Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret test results, make diagnoses, and determine appropriate treatment plans. Consult with physician specialists and para-professional personnel regarding patient care and medical diagnostic work. Assist patients and families in accessing care at the clinic and elsewhere, resolving concerns as needed. Supervise and mentor student and resident physicians and support staff in patient care. Participate in peer review, set clinical standards, and monitor quality of medical services. Collaborate with staff providers to discuss clinical concerns and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications : 2 years of experience in a Primary Care setting Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California Board Eligible / Certified in Family Practice and / or Internal Medicine BLS certification DEA certification Familiar with E-Clinical Works
