Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor leads people and technical resources in an assigned assembly area to deliver highquality products on schedule. You will coach and develop your team drive daily shopfloor performance and apply lean methods to continuously improve productivity quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop assembly staff in line with TRUMPF policies and TUS rules and the Employee Handbook. Model professional behaviour and high personal standards.
• Create and manage staffing plans : shift assignments rotations vacations backups and onthejob training. Prepare and execute individual development and training plans with emphasis on safety training compliance.
• Plan daily production activities monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adjust resources to meet customer schedules and delivery targets.
• Ensure product quality by enforcing quality processes training employees on quality reporting initiating and driving corrective actions and cooperating with QC on calibration and tool readiness.
• Forecast department needs for staffing training and equipment; support hiring activities and resource allocation with department management.
• Apply lean principles and continuous improvement tools (5S Kaizen PDCA etc.) to reduce waste increase throughput and improve firstpass yield.
• Maintain accurate production and personnel records; conduct performance coaching annual reviews and recommend merit increases.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures work instructions and organizational practices to improve safety and operational efficiency.
