Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Department position requiring a WA or compact license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 0630 to 1900, 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Ability to pick up extra shifts is available
  • Meditech charting system is used; experience is helpful but not required
  • Full scheduling availability required; any requested time off must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract
  • Candidates must be team players with strong ED nursing knowledge
  • Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply

    • Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
  • Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
  • Verification of demographics via Nursys
