Pay Range : $70.00 / hr to $80.00 / hr

Job description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior SAP S / 4HANA Project Systems Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. This is a leadership role responsible for designing and governing the end-to-end solution architecture for our project-driven business operations. You will be the principal design authority for our SAP S / 4HANA landscape, focusing on the seamless integration of project logistics, financial controls, and complex manufacturing processes. This role is critical to ensuring our most complex projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality, directly contributing to our company's profitability and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP S / 4HANA Project System solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise architecture principles.

Translate complex business requirements from project logistics, finance, and manufacturing into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Project Systems (PS), Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO), and Variant Configuration (VC) in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) context.

Architect and oversee the integration of SAP S / 4HANA with external, best-of-breed systems, including Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tools like Oracle Primavera P6 and certified Earned Value

Management Systems (EVMS).

Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and integration patterns, championing a "standard-first" approach to minimize customization.

Lead design workshops, resolve complex architectural challenges, and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams of business analysts, developers, and project managers.

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, from senior executives to end-users, to build consensus and drive decision-making.

Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, effort estimation, and proposal development.

Required Skills and Experience :

A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in SAP consulting and implementation, with a deep focus on the Project System (PS) module.

A minimum of 5 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role, with a proven track record of designing large-scale enterprise solutions.

Demonstrated experience leading the solution design for at least two full-cycle SAP S / 4HANA implementations in a project-based, ETO / MTO manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Expert-level, hands-on configuration and solution design experience in both the logistical (PS-LOG) and financial (PS-FIN) aspects of SAP Project Systems.

Deep expertise in Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) and a strong understanding of the principles of its predecessor, Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD).

Proven experience integrating SAP Variant Configuration (both classic LO-VC and S / 4HANA AVC) with Project Systems to drive project creation and execution from sales orders.

Strong understanding of the integration points between PS and other core modules, including MM, PP, SD, and CO.

Experience designing and implementing integration solutions between SAP and external systems (e.g., Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra) using technologies such as SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and IDocs.

Current SAP S / 4HANA certifications are highly preferred.
