Clinical Nurse Manager – Emergency Department (ED) Location : Georgia Schedule : Full-Time Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled and proactive Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department . This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff and resources, and ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality, and compassionate emergency care. The ED Nurse Manager also mentors nursing staff, supports professional development, and implements best practices to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : Lead and manage daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient patient care. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a high-functioning nursing team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Monitor departmental budgets, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance. Drive initiatives to improve safety, quality, and patient / family experience in the ED. Serve as a clinical role model, promoting professional development and accountability among nursing staff. Assist in direct patient care when necessary to support safe staffing and continuity of care. Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care or emergency setting, with at least one (1) year in a leadership role (charge nurse, supervisor, or manager). Strong clinical expertise in emergency nursing. Current Georgia RN license required. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
