The Communications Operations Manager is a crucial role within the Communications department at The Walt Disney Studios, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of internal events, vendor management, and project coordination. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively identify and resolve issues, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal events for employees, including town halls, large scale internal events, conferences, and leadership events.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, purchasing, and attendee registration.
• Track event expenses.
• Post-event evaluation and reporting on event success.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors related to events, including caterers, A / V companies, and others.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance aligns with expectations.
• Assess vendor documentation, including insurance requirements and other relevant certifications.
• Manage vendor invoices.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders.

The hiring range for this position in California is $112,700.00 to $154,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
