Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and organized Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position will support multiple attorneys across various practice areas. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, divorce petitions, motions, discovery requests, and pleadings
  • Assist in preparing criminal defense documentation and client case summaries
  • Conduct legal research and summarize statutes, case law, and court procedures
  • Maintain organized case files and track deadlines using Legal Practice Management Software (LPMS)
  • File documents with local and state courts, both electronically and in person as needed
  • Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel professionally and promptly
  • Manage case calendars and assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, trials, and client meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and firm policies
  • Qualifications :

  • Associates degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (required)
  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law, estate planning, or criminal law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Legal Practice Management Software (LPMS required)
  • Familiarity with Texas court procedures and e-filing systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under deadlines
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
