Registered Nurse - PCU -

About the unit(s) : Number of Beds- 20

Type of staff : Day Shift 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA. Night Shift- 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 / 1 : 6 stretch dependent on level of care Inpatient overflow unit w / mixed level of care- medical surgical and / or step-down patients bedded on this unit Short stay ( 24 hr LOS) patients target to this unit. Quick turnover

Type of equipment : telemetry; if telemetry monitoring indicated, all patients hardwired to bedside monitor.

EMR- Cerner

Requirements :

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : BLS and ACLS

Must have : Telemetry competency

Progressive Care experience

Preferred or nice to have : Recent progressive care experience

Best personality Fit : Positive attitude, pt. experience focused, kind, compassionate, team player / works well with others.

Floating Area(s) : Travelers will be required to float to other units if needed.

Dress Code : Navy and or / white top, navy bottom, all white

Weekends and on call (if any) : Every other weekend required, no call required.
