Compensation : $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience and shift

Shifts Available FT Day shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of our healthcare and residential facilities. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and operational environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to unanticipated facility needs to minimize risk and service disruption.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, systems, and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and local, state, and national codes.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across multiple disciplines.
  • Electrical : Lighting, outlets, switches, panels, ATS, EPSS testing, medium voltage systems.
  • Plumbing : Fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, drains.
  • HVAC : Filters, coils, compressors, VFDs.
  • Power Plant Systems : Boilers, chillers, water softeners.
  • General Maintenance : Carpentry, painting, workspace modifications, fire / smoke wall repairs.
  • Groundskeeping : Snow removal, exterior building upkeep.
  • Patient Care Equipment : Fire detection systems, pneumatic tube systems.
  • Backup Systems : Generators, UPS, SCADA, Power Logic software.
  • Mentor and coach other technicians.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of parts and repairs.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
  • Attend training sessions and maintain certifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general property maintenance.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software.
  • Effective communication with coworkers, residents, families, and contractors.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, stooping, bending, etc.).
