Golf Inventory Manager Responsibility :
- Maintain accurate inventory operations for five retail shops, ensuring accurate and consistent records across all locations
- Oversee invoice management, including verification, processing, and reconciliation with received merchandise and purchase orders
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and monthly reconciliations, maintaining accuracy across all shops and systems with the Golf Professional staff
- Collaborate with the Golf Retail Director to analyze sales and inventory
- Assist with reorders, and manage seasonal transitions
- Work closely with vendors to resolve discrepancies, returns, and credit memos in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain clear inventory procedures and documentation, ensuring all retail staff
- Follow standardized receiving and tagging processes
- Support shop teams with product intake, labeling, and organization, ensuring timely rollout of new merchandise and displays
- Generate inventory, variance, and sales tracking reports for management review
- Maintain organized and efficient stockrooms that support quick access, accuracy, and visual standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors in inventory and invoice management
- Provide training and support to retail staff on inventory systems and best practices
Golf Inventory Manager Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Retail Management preferredProven ability to manage multi-location inventory systems and invoice workflowsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or retailGolf Inventory Manager Critical Skills :
Proficiency in retail POS and inventory management software (Club Essential, Jonas, Lightspeed, or similar)Strong Excel skills and ability to produce clear and accurate reportsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong communication and vendor management skillsGolf Inventory Manager Physical Demand :
Must be able to stand for a long period of timeMust be able to work in an environment that requires travel to various locations on campus by approved meansFlexible schedules that may include weekends and holidays
