CoreCivic is actively seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator for our facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in our care, setting the standard for mental health services within the corrections industry.
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Conducting mental health screenings and assessments through careful review of records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Providing individualized treatment by developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans tailored to meet the needs and functioning levels of inmates.
- Documenting all treatment and evaluation activities in the inmates' healthcare records accurately and confidentially.
- Demonstrating a robust understanding of psychological counseling theories and techniques through various treatments and activities.
- Delivering timely mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the unique needs of offenders.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area from an accredited institution.A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) years in a similar position.Must hold appropriate OH LPCC or LISW certification or license.A valid driver's license is preferred unless otherwise required by contract or law.Must be at least 18 years of age.At CoreCivic, we promote a Drug-Free Workplace and are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veteran status.
