Mental Health Coordinator

CoreCivic is actively seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator for our facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in our care, setting the standard for mental health services within the corrections industry.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Conducting mental health screenings and assessments through careful review of records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Providing individualized treatment by developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans tailored to meet the needs and functioning levels of inmates.
• Documenting all treatment and evaluation activities in the inmates' healthcare records accurately and confidentially.
• Demonstrating a robust understanding of psychological counseling theories and techniques through various treatments and activities.
• Delivering timely mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the unique needs of offenders.
