Job Description

As a Security Professional - Tech / Media Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a security professional responsible for access control in a dynamic tech and media environment. You will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will support a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors, and you will be part of a team that values reliability, innovation, and integrity in all interactions.

Pay Rate : $20.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 30 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and irregularities observed during the shift.
  • Support the security-related needs of a tech, media, and telecom environment, adapting to unique requirements of the location as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age for this position.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
