New York Licensed Physician Assistant

A company is looking for a Per Diem Physician Associate for Day Shift.

Key Responsibilities

Performs complete patient histories, examinations, and minor procedures, while ordering and interpreting laboratory tests

Assists in Ambulatory / Inpatient Surgery and outpatient procedures under physician supervision

Manages clinical responsibilities including patient follow-up, scheduling, and documentation in patient charts

Required Qualifications

Completion of a NYS-approved program for physician assistant / associate studies

Registration with New York State as a Physician Assistant / Associate

Certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant / Associate

High levels of analytical ability for diagnosing and treating medical / surgical problems

Ability to work independently and interact with various internal staff
