Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Omaha, NE. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to hospice patients, monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans. Additional daily tasks include documenting patient care, communicating with family members, and ensuring patient comfort and dignity in line with Peaceful Hearts Hospice's mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Nebraska
• Experience providing direct patient care and managing patient health
• Skills in administering medications and following physician orders
• Ability to document patient care accurately and communicate effectively
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient and family interactions
• Experience in hospice or palliative care is a plus
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
