Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location : Tuscumbia, AL 35674.

Shift Schedule : 12-hour shifts | 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM.

Duration : 07 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).

Pay Rate : $26 / hour on W2.

Guaranteed Hours : 34.

Responsibilities :

Monitor and assess patients throughout their treatment process.

Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.

Administer and ensure patients take prescribed medication as directed.

Assist doctors and registered nurses (RNs) in patient care and medical procedures.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Communicate effectively with patients' families and provide updates on their loved ones' health conditions.

Adhere to all healthcare regulations and best nursing practices.

Skills / Experience Needed :

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an LPN (more experience is a plus).

Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Education :

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development).

Successful completion of a state-approved LPN program.

Certifications :

Active LPN License in the state of Alabama (AL).

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated as per healthcare regulations.
