This major academic medical center features comprehensive pediatric services including a 54-bed NICU with intensive and intermediate care capabilities, a 22-bed PICU serving children from newborn to 18 years, and a 40-bed acute pediatrics unit. The facility serves as a regional transfer center offering advanced therapies such as ECMO, hypothermia treatment, and specialized cardiac care. The pediatric emergency department is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated exclusively to pediatric patients aged 0-21 years, staffed by specialized pediatric emergency physicians and nurses providing 24 / 7 care.
