Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting. The role involves delivering therapy to students across various grade levels, addressing diverse communication needs, and supporting their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Adapt therapy delivery methods, including teletherapy options when appropriate.
Qualifications :
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License required.Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational settings highly preferred.Familiarity with teletherapy practices and protocols.Knowledge of speech-language pathology services across healthcare and school environments.CCC-SLP certification or equivalent credential.Current CFY completion or in process considered.Location and Schedule :
Position based in Monrovia, CA.Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, five days per week.Contract duration extends through the school year (NSY).Services delivered primarily to K-12 students within school facilities.Benefits :
