• ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development / testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing.  Job Summary :   Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Technician for our Quality Team to support the quality requirements of incoming and outgoing material and products.   Responsibilities and Duties :   Perform inspections of materials, purchased parts, and internally made parts.
• Document all inspections results using visual, dimensional methods and standards on company documentation forms.
• Review specifications and drawings to understand the product requirements.
• Reject incoming materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department.  Communicate and help resolve quality-related issues while adhering to project deadlines.
• Assist in developing inspection standards and processes.
• Assist with the coordination of calibrated equipment.
• Recommend improvement measures to processes to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Generate Nonconformance Reports or Corrective Actions when required.
• Assist with updates to the Quality Management System and participate in internal and external audits.
• Work with multiple departments to support production and increase awareness of quality requirements.
