Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity, Kansas City

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking Hospitalist(s) to join its dedicated team supporting the care of hospitalized newborns.

This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care by conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized care plans for newborn patients. This includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including Neonatology , to ensure the highest standards of patient health and safety.

In addition, Pediatric Hospitalists will actively engage in teaching, research, and other academic responsibilities within the Department of Pediatrics. Candidates are required to maintain all relevant certifications, including the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and participate in ongoing professional development to promote excellence in clinical practice and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications :

• MD / DO or equivalent
• Board eligible / board certified in Pediatrics
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas
