We are seeking an experienced Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Longview, TX . This role will begin in our established oncology clinic, helping to build and grow our oncology service line ahead of the opening of our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center in October 2026 . ? Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic settingManage follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as appropriateCollaborate closely with oncologists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary teamEducate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing careMaintain accurate documentation within the EMR and ensure continuity of careSupport the growth and development of the oncology program as patient volume increases✅ Qualifications
Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNational board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)Oncology Certified (AOCN) through Oncology Nursing SocietyPrevious experience in hematology / oncology requiredStrong communication, clinical, and organizational skillsCommitment to building a long-term practice and serving the community?
