Dolby Laboratories is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Web Content Specialist to elevate our online presence and showcase the cutting-edge work of our world-class research division. This role will manage and maintain websites designed to highlight our high-tech research lab, feature our researchers, and demonstrate major technologies through engaging content, blogs, articles, news items, demo videos, and evergreen updates. The ideal candidate will blend strong technical expertise, storytelling, and web management skills to build Dolby’s brand as a leader in audio, video, AI, AR / VR / XR, and immersive technologies, while attracting top global talent to join our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain an engaging, up-to-date website showcasing Dolby’s research lab, including researcher profiles, featured scientists, and top publications.

Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify highlights, key achievements, and high priority technology content.

Conduct interviews with researchers to develop compelling blog posts and feature articles on a regular basis (e.g., bi-weekly or monthly).

Develop and curate content to showcase major Dolby technologies, demonstrations, and demo videos, ensuring a dynamic and visually appealing experience.

Write high-quality, accessible blog posts, tech articles, and web content that translate complex research (e.g., AI, spatial audio, XR) into compelling narratives for diverse audiences—scientists, engineers, and potential talent.

Keep sites evergreen with fresh updates, reflecting the latest breakthroughs and talent stories.

Position Dolby Research as a global leader through strategic content that enhances brand reputation and attracts top-tier talent worldwide.

Collaborate with Dolby Marketing and Dolby.com content creators to align messaging and amplify reach.

Optimize sites for SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics).

Experience :

Minimum 10 years of experience in website creation, maintenance, and content development, with a proven track record of managing tech-focused sites.

Demonstrated ability to write engaging technical blogs, articles, or white papers for a research or high-tech audience.

Strong understanding of web tools (e.g., CMS, Google Analytics), web page design, and basic front-end development (HTML / CSS).

Familiarity with multimedia integration (e.g., embedding demo videos, optimizing images).

Skills :

Excellent communication and interviewing skills to collaborate with researchers, leadership, and marketing teams.

Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive with a passion for technology and innovation.

Strong organizational skills to manage independent projects and meet deadlines.
