Substitute Nurse (RNLPN)

Basic Function :

Provide primary health and emergency care to students and staff in the absence of the regular school nurse.

Education and Experience :

Appropriate certificationas a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. Current certificationsin First Aid CPR or other areas of need. Computer typing and office organization skills preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• Sedentary able to sit for extended periods of time but may involve walking and standing (periodically as required) is able to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.).
• Dexterity finger movements (computer keyboard calculator) eye-hand coordination (office equipment etc.)
• Auditory and Visual Requirements within normal range with or without correction.
