  • Hours per Week : 36 (72 bi-weekly guaranteed)\n
  • Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU), 30 beds\n
  • Patient Ratio : 5 : 1\n
  • Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs\n
  • Electronic Medical Record : Cerner EMR\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800\n

    • \n\nPCU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Indiana RN license\n
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required\n
  • ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of start)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, telemetry, or progressive care experience\n
  • Proficiency in telemetry nursing skills\n
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred\n
  • Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
  • Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility\n

  • Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation in the Progressive Care Unit\n
  • Manage care for patients with heart failure, stroke, and other progressive medical conditions\n
  • Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and cardiac monitoring\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR system\n
  • Float to other nursing units as required to support hospital operations\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards\n
