Facilities Material Support Specialist

The Facilities Material Support Specialist provides logistical and material support to Navy facilities operations by managing material research, inventory control, and delivery coordination. This position ensures that all material handling, documentation, and system entries comply with Navy standards and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Research, identify, and order materials and equipment using Navy supply systems, including NSN and part number lookups.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries; verify accuracy of shipments and documentation.
• Operate forklift and government vehicle / truck to transport, load, and unload materials as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and tracking of all materials.
• Assist with ERP "Goods Receipt" processing and documentation for materials received and issued.
