Faculty (College of Arts & Sciences- Kinesiology & Exercise Science)

The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to join the Faculty in the Department of Kinesiology and Exercise Science. The successful candidate will have excellent opportunities to shape and contribute to the curriculum and culture of the department and be responsible for teaching in all areas of the department for majors and non-majors. The department offers degrees in exercise science, physical education, and sport, recreation and fitness management. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered Liberal Arts education, Christian service, and the mission of the university. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time, 9-month position. Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research.

Position is scheduled to begin January 2026.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Exercise Science or Sport related field, required; doctorate in Exercise Science or Sport related field preferred
• Experience with Canvas online or similar online teaching technology preferred
• Active member of the church of Christ
