Responsibilities

• Supervise library staff including interviews, hiring, training, creating expectations and duties, and completing performance evaluations
• Provide legal reference assistance to judicial staff, county staff, attorneys and the public to locate and obtain legal research materials
• Prepare and present annual budget to Law Library Committee; Recommends purchases to committee; Monitor administration of the budget, purchases, payment of invoices and collection of monies
• Develop and maintain the Law Library collection including print and electronic formats focusing on specialized law materials and databases; Monitor collection for accuracy of materials and provide current materials
• Design, edit and produce monthly newsletter; recommend policy and procedures to the Law Library Committee; maintain internal policy and procedure manual
• Attend and participate in Fort Bend County Library Department Head meetings
• Work as scheduled at the reference desk in a Fort Bend County Library adult services department
• Participate in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers

Minimum Job Requirements

SALARY : $32.26-MIN-$48.39-MAX
