Job description

AI Engineer Opportunity -

  • Hybrid in Charlotte, NC & Phoenix, AZ
  • W2 ONLY - NO C2C

We're currently hiring for a

  • Software Engineer
  • to join an exciting project, focused on developing and enhancing an advanced artificial intelligence system.

    • Candidates should also bring experience with conversational AI platforms such as

  • Google Dialogflow CX
  • or similar, and be comfortable working with
  • LLMs
  • , agentic architectures, and prompt engineering. Knowledge of tools like ADK or Playbook and a conceptual understanding of machine learning fundamentals and telemetry are highly valued.
  • Description

    • Core Technical Requirements

  • 6-8 years of Java development (Spring / Spring Boot)
  • 4-5 years of Python (backend / data-focused)
  • Reactive Programming (WebFlux, etc.)
  • Apache Kafka (event-driven architecture)
  • Flink (stream processing)
  • Redis (caching / performance)
  • MongoDB & Oracle (NoSQL & RDBMS)
  • RESTful API development
  • GraphQL (nice to have)

    • AI / Conversational Platform Experience

  • Google Dialogflow CX or similar frameworks
  • Hands-on with LLMs, agentic architectures, prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with ADK, Playbook, or similar agentic tools
  • Conceptual understanding of ML fundamentals and telemetry

    • Additional Skills

  • Strong debugging / problem-solving
  • Microservices, CI / CD, cloud-native (OCP, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or digital assistant platforms
  • Skills

    • Python, Chef, Machine learning, Artificial intelligence

    • The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $77.00 / hr.
