Sales Specialist
DH Pace Company, a distribution, construction, and service organization offering a complete range of door and door related products and commercial security products, is seeking to hire a sales specialist in St. Louis, MO. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized individual to join a team of dedicated professionals. This role will serve as a key functional resource to the entire team, focusing on highly complex projects and tasks as well as other general administrative duties.
Job responsibilities include :
- Performing advanced administrative duties for sales and operations and supporting day-to-day requests of other team members.
- Being the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, managers, peers, and other administrative support staff.
- Completing project work as required including development of presentations and reports.
- Providing training and support to all new and existing employees.
- Possessing excellent assessment and problem-solving skills relative to resolving customer-related issues.
- Being proficient in performing service billing.
- Handling advanced contract processing, including contract tracking, pay applications, sub-contractor process, lien waivers, and revenue recognition.
- Compiling and preparing bid packages and proposals.
- Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and customers before, during, and after the sale.
- Creating, maintaining, and monitoring purchase orders and inventory transfers.
- Preparing for and participating in meetings including department, backlog, COD, and sales.
- Utilizing knowledge and experience to identify and champion process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work overtime may be required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
