Description :

The OR Tech, under general supervision, is a member of the OR Team.

The primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases.

Other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases.

When fully trained, the OR Tech assumes responsibility for on-call duties.

Previous experience in a hospital setting as an OR technologist is preferred.

CST Certification and BLS Certification are required.

Weekend and holiday work may be necessary as needed.
