TITLE : Social Worker

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / TRAINING

Required :

Min of 2 years of experience within specialty - Hospital Based experience.

Required : BLS & MUST be GA Licensed LCSW, will not accept other state LCSW licenses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Counseling and emotional support : Provide grief counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support to help patients and families cope with diagnosis, illness, and life-altering events.
• Education : Educate patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and how to manage them.
• Advocacy : Act as a patient advocate to ensure their emotional, social, and financial needs are met and that their rights are protected.
