Assistant Property Manager

Salary : Compensation is commensurate with experience

FLSA Status : Exempt

Schedule : 5 days a week with rotating Saturdays

Reports to : Property Manager

General Description

The Assistant Property Manager works closely with prospective renters, prepares leases, handles various customer service and maintenance requests from tenants, and establishes a rapport to provide excellent customer service at a 465-unit property.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of property management and bookkeeping experience in the multifamily industry.
• Prior experience with Yardi software is preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to set priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
• Knowledge of all fair housing and other governmental laws regarding marketing and leasing of multifamily properties
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation is required.
