Staff Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities :

Take leadership and oversight of the platform's backend services

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using TypeScript

Ensure system availability and reliability through scalable architectures and monitoring

Required Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js / Bun.js and TypeScript

Experience delivering complex microservices-based backends for web clients

Proven ability to serve a high number of concurrent users with large data-streaming requirements

Strong understanding of Postgres, including schema / query design and optimization

Experience leading a mid-sized engineering team
