Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide / Cook in our Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, and clean-up, ensuring dietary needs are met and meals are enjoyable. Additionally, you will uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparing and serving meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and suitable for residents' dietary needs.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and professional manner, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to established standards.
• Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies, notifying supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with menu planning and development under the direction of the Dietary Manager.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen clean-up as needed.
