In February of 1991, as part of a five-site, U.S., FDA clinical trial team, Dr. Kraff successfully performed the first excimer laser procedures in the Chicagoland area using the VISX Excimer Laser.
Since that time, Dr. Kraff and the Kraff Eye Institute have devoted their practice to specializing in laser vision correction. The Kraff Eye Institute has been and continues to be the lead U.S. investigative site for all VISX LASIK FDA clinical trials, performing the very first hyperopic LASIK and Wavefront-guided custom treatments in this country.
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Ophthalmic Technician ensures all patients receive the highest quality ophthalmic care while receiving medical / surgical eye care. This role provides an unsurpassed patient experience by seamlessly linking the doctor and other primary care functions together.

Pay Range : 19.12 - 28.81
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
