Clinical Nurse II : SICU / Neuro ICU, Night Shift

Join our dedicated team in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) where we provide specialized care to critically ill adult patients (ages 14 and older). Our unit features 30 intensive care beds with a balanced patient population divided between surgical and neurological cases.

Your role will involve caring for patients facing life-threatening conditions stemming from major surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, seizures, sepsis, and multi-organ system failures. You will utilize your expertise in comprehensive physical assessments, intensive monitoring, ventilator management, and hemodynamic assessments.

As a nurse in our SICU / Neuro ICU, you will develop skills in :

• ICP monitoring via EVD or bolt
• Spinal drains / catheters
• Brain oxygen monitoring
• Artic Sun therapy
• Continuous EEG
• Intra-arterial catheter management
• Non-invasive cardiac output monitoring
• Mechanical ventilation and continuous renal replacement therapy
• Reconstructive flap monitoring and massive blood transfusion
