Workforce Health Nurse Practitioner

Exciting things are happening at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, especially in our Workforce Health Department! We have expanded our services for current employees. We are also seeking to expand our team with a Nurse Practitioner who has a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for exceptional patient care to join our growing team. As part of Workforce Health, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on employees' lives while helping to foster a culture of health, wellness, and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities may include providing medical care to employees, conducting assessments, managing injuries, and assisting with health promotion initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ortho / musculoskeletal disorders, urgent care / family medicine, i.e chronic disease management such as : diabetes, hypertension, weight management, and hyperlipidemia. Qualifications :

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination.

Current, unrestricted license to work as a Nurse Practitioner / in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Active DEA Controlled substance registration.

BLS Certification

2+ years as a Nurse Practitioner is required

Prior employee health and wellness experience preferred
