Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 06 / 2025 Duration : 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (09 : 30 - 20 : 00) Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills : Perform MRI scans using Siemens equipment (experience required) Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions Interpret and perform advanced MRI studies including : Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic, etc.) Head, Neck, Cranial nerves, Orbits Chest, Breast, Myocardium Musculoskeletal : Knee, Shoulder, Hand, Foot, etc. Special procedures like MRA, MRV, MRCP, Spectroscopy, Perfusion, and more Utilize Epic charting system Work in various clinical settings : Adult ICU, ER / Trauma, Outpatient, and preferred pediatric experience Rotate on-call coverage and work some weekends (TBD in posting) Required Experience & Certifications : Minimum 1 year MRI experience Previous travel experience required Required Certifications : ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT, BLS Travel candidates must be adaptable and able to work in fast-paced, trauma-level environments Preferred Experience : Experience in Level I or II trauma facilities Epic EMR experience Community and teaching hospital experience Other Notes : Call required (on rotation) Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with strong background Wisconsin or compact state license must be in hand at submission Must be comfortable with high acuity and quick adaptation 50-mile radius restriction for locals COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
