Radiology Tech ERT (EGH)

Reports to the Coordinator / Director. Operates basic radiologic equipment determining the quality and quantity of ionizing radiation to make quality radiographs on injured and / or sick patients as directed by physicians following accepted policies and procedures under the direction of radiologists.

Education and Experience :

The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of some college or vocational training. ARRT or ARRT eligible, State Certification required. No previous experience is required. Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program. Must have valid 'General Certification' from Indiana State Board of Health. Must complete CR Specialist Manual within 120 days of obtaining full / part time position or within 6 months if PRN associate.
