Hospitalist Physician Assistant

Job Title : Hospitalist APP

Location : Port Huron, MI

Position Type : Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)

Shift : Day shift and Mid shift

Schedule : 8-hour shifts

Employment Type : W2

Salary : Competitive hourly pay

Team Structure : Collaborate with the Physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during the day shift; 1 APP during day and 1 APP during mid-shift

Qualifications : PA-C

Experience in hospital medicine preferred

EMR : Epic

Hospital Size : 139-bed hospital

ICU : 8 beds, Trauma Level 3, Tele-Critical Care (tele-CC) support available

Census : Approximately 50 patients per day

Specialty Support :

24 / 7 availability of Cardiology, Urology, Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and Orthopedics

ICU coverage with tele-CC support and in-house specialists for critical care cases
