Position Overview

The Mid-Level Systems Administrator supports federal and enterprise systems by managing, maintaining, and securing IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform server administration, patching, and updates.
  • Maintain Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies.
  • Support virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Monitor system health and ensure uptime SLAs.
  • Document configurations and change management.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years system administration experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with SCCM and backup / recovery systems.
  • CompTIA Security+ preferred.

    • Certifications and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CompTIA or Microsoft certifications preferred.

    • Security Clearance

  • Public Trust or higher required.
