Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : Day shifts, 12 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio RN jobs

BLS Certification (required before first shift)

ACLS Certification (required before first shift)

Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med / Surg nursing setting highly desired.

Strong communication and teamwork skills for healthcare professionals

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission

Develop individualized care plans and identify teaching needs for patients and families

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record

Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning

Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees

Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and procedures

Contribute to positive unit teamwork and participate in team-building activities

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nurses
