Title : BMW Automotive Shop Foreman

As a BMW Automotive Shop Foreman, you are a master-level technician with a passion for leadership and precision. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering the highest level of technical expertise and teamwork. You take pride in mentoring others, solving complex problems, and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service quality.

As a BMW Automotive Shop Foreman with Autobahn Fort Worth, you will be responsible for :

Leading and supervising a team of BMW technicians, apprentices, and shop staff

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service shop, including technician workflow, repair order distribution, and quality control

Performing advanced diagnostics and assisting with complex repairs

Serving as a technical expert and mentor to developing technicians

Ensuring all repairs meet BMW factory specifications and safety standards

Collaborating with Service Advisors to support clear communication and timely client updates

Supporting ongoing training and professional development across the service team

Monitoring shop productivity, technician performance, and department efficiency metrics

Maintaining compliance with BMW warranty processes and dealership policies

Participating in technician recruitment and development initiatives

Attending weekly department meetings to contribute to team improvement and alignment

Qualifications :

Master BMW Technician Certification (active and in good standing)

10+ years of hands-on experience as a BMW technician, including diagnostic and electrical systems expertise

Proven experience leading or mentoring a technical team

Strong communication and leadership skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Proficiency with BMW systems including ISTA, AIR, and TIS

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or equivalent role within a BMW dealership or certified repair facility

Familiarity with dealership DMS systems (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)

ASE certifications in addition to BMW credentials
