We're seeking a dynamic Head of Logistics to shape and execute Slate's logistics strategy, driving efficient inbound + outbound processes and building a high-performing team within our Purchasing & Supply Chain organization. This leader will champion a "roll up the sleeves" mindset, leading by example to deliver fast, frugal, and scrappy solutions as we race toward production in a fast-paced environment.

As both a builder and an enabler, you'll create cost-effective logistics strategies and processes from the ground up, while fostering alignment across purchasing, planning, quality, and finance. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, blending structured process expertise with startup agility to deliver results. Key qualifications include :

• Proven Leadership : Experience building and leading logistics teams, with a track record of mentoring talent and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
• Strategic Vision : Expertise in designing scalable logistics strategies, including inbound / outbound operations and Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation.
• Operational Excellence : Strong ability to develop efficient processes, optimize supply chain performance, and drive continuous improvement in a resource-constrained environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders (purchasing, planning, quality, finance) to ensure logistics supports broader business goals.
• Startup Mindset : Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making data-driven decisions, and adapting quickly to evolving priorities in a high-growth EV startup.
• Technical Acumen : Familiarity with supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, TMS) and a knack for leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• You're a hands-on leader who's passionate about building from scratch, driving innovation, and delivering results in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
