MICU RN – Rotating Shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights) – 36 hrs / week\n\nFloating Required | Every Other Weekend\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience : \n\n3+ years ICU experience\n\n2+ years continuous MICU experience in one facility\n\nMust be able to read and interpret Tele strips\n\nCertifications : \n\nMA RN License, BLS, ACLS\n\nUnit Details\n\nUnit Name : Level III Trauma Center – Medical / Surgical ICU\n\nBed Count : 20-bed MICU\n\nCharting : EPIC\n\nRN Ratios : \n\nMICU : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on acuity\n\nFloat to Med / Surg : 1 : 4 or 1 : 5\n\nPatient Population\n\nAdult patients with varied high-acuity conditions including : \n\nSepsis, DKA, GI Bleed\n\nSubstance Abuse / Overdose\n\nSevere Psychiatric Conditions\n\nRespiratory Failure\n\nCardiac Arrest, Cardiogenic Shock\n\nRenal Failure\n\nAttendings and residents are in-house 24 / 7.\n\nFloating\n\nRequired\n\nPrimarily to Med / Surg units\n\nMust maintain Telemetry competency\n\nScheduling\n\nRotating Day positions : May rotate between 7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a as needed\n\nNight shift : Does not rotate\n\nEvery Other Weekend (EOW) required
